Pre-kindergarten

Our goal for Prekindergarten is to get students fully prepared for kindergarten. Our PreK students will transition into a classroom setting, learning more as a group. Our PreK program focuses on reading and writing. They will begin sight words in January and will be introduced to new words monthly. Students will learn by purposeful play and continue to be assisted with developmental milestones. The students who will start Kindergarten that fall will also transition out of nap toward the end of summer.

Our Curriculum
A faith-based curriculum setting the foundation to help grow and develop our leaders of tomorrow.
Our FOTP Learning Center curriculum is written to allow children to grow and learn at their own pace. We know that every child develops differently. FOTP Learning Center teachers are trained on the 5 stages of child development and will create their lesson plans accordingly.
The 5 stages of child development:
• Cognitive Development
• Social and Emotional Development
